Oud layering guide

Oud is often described as dark, woody and resinous. In perfume layering, it works especially well with rose, amber, saffron, vanilla and leather.

How to layer Oud

Use oud as either the dominant signature note or a supporting layer. If the note is intense, pair it with cleaner musks, soft woods or citrus. If it is soft, use amber, vanilla or woods to increase depth and longevity.
