What is ScentLayering?
ScentLayering is a fragrance intelligence platform for discovering, scoring and saving perfume layering combinations using structured scent data and optional personal context.
Is ScentLayering a perfume shop?
No. ScentLayering is a discovery and guidance platform. It does not manufacture or sell perfume.
What is perfume or scent layering?
Perfume layering means wearing two or more fragrances or scented products together to create a personalized scent profile.
What do Compatibility, Confidence and Personal Fit mean?
Compatibility estimates how coherently two fragrances may layer. Confidence reflects how complete the supporting data is. Personal Fit reflects optional user preferences and context.
Are the scores scientifically validated?
No. They are transparent, deterministic product heuristics. Fragrance is subjective, and real results depend on skin chemistry, weather, dosage and personal taste.
What is Fragrance DNA?
Fragrance DNA is an optional personal profile containing preferences such as loved notes, disliked notes, fragrance families, projection, longevity, seasons and occasions.
Is wear history public?
No. Wear logs are private to the authenticated user. Public rating summaries expose only aggregate averages and counts.
