ScentLayering Guide

What Is Scent Layering?

A beginner-friendly guide to scent layering, perfume combinations and fragrance wardrobes.

Scent layering is the practice of combining two or more fragrance products to create a more personal scent. Instead of treating perfume as one fixed bottle, you build a small fragrance wardrobe and adjust it by mood, season and occasion.

Simple rule

Choose one fragrance as the main character and one as the supporting layer. If both scents are loud, reduce sprays. If both are soft, use a stronger base note such as amber, woods or musk.
