How To Layer Perfume Correctly

Learn the simple rules for layering perfume without creating a heavy or confusing scent.

Start with moisturized skin, apply the softer base first and use fewer sprays than usual. Let the first layer settle before adding the second. The goal is balance, not volume.

Simple rule

Choose one fragrance as the main character and one as the supporting layer. If both scents are loud, reduce sprays. If both are soft, use a stronger base note such as amber, woods or musk.
